Dan Craig placed fifth today at PSU Nittany Lion Open

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – Several members of the Lock Haven University wrestling team were in action today at Penn State University in the Nittany Lion Open with freshman Dan Craig (Paw Paw, Mich./Allegan) highlighting the Bald Eagles performances with a fifth-place showing.
Craig went 6-1 on the day at heavyweight. The rookie started off his tournament with three straight wins (bye, 3-1, & a pin) before falling to Kent State’s Jermail Porter 10-3.
Craig bounced back from that loss with a 4-2 and 12-8 win advancing to the fifth-place bout.
He pinned Penn State’s Brendan Herlihy in 2:15 for his second pin of the tournament.
