LOCK HAVEN, Pa. - The Lock Haven University women’s basketball team (5-13, 0-4 PSAC West) lost to California (Pa.) University (16-2, 3-0 PSAC West) 77-46 in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) West action today at home in Thomas Fieldhouse.
The win marked the 14th straight for California who hasn’t lost since Nov. 25, 2007.
Sophomore Kristin Kudrick (Harrison City, Pa./Penn Trafford) had a big day for LHU as she scored a team-high 19 points. She also grabbed four rebounds.
Junior Lauren Kelshaw (Weatherly, Pa./Weatherly), the Lady Eagles leading scorer on the season netted nine points while senior Michelle Mitchell (Scranton, Pa./Lackawanna C.C.) added six.
Rookie Elizabeth Finneran (Oakville, Conn./Watertown) had a team-high rebounds for the Haven.
The Lady Eagles are back in action next Saturday, Feb. 2 at 1 p.m. when they play host to Edinboro University.
