Lady Eagles drop home contest
 

Sophomore Lauren Kelshaw scored 15 points tonight to help the Haven's effort.

LOCK HAVEN, Pa. - The Lock Haven University women’s basketball team (7-15, 2-6 PSAC West) lost 76-69 tonight at home in Thomas Fieldhouse to visiting Shippensburg University (17-6, 6-3 PSAC West) in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Western Division action.

Junior Lauren Kelshaw (Weatherly, Pa./Weatherly) and sophomore Kristin Kudrick Kristin Kudrick (Harrison City, Pa./Penn Trafford) continued to be the key components of the Lady Eagles offense as the two combined for 30 points.

Each player scored 15 points apiece and Kelshaw nearly tallied the double-double after grabbing a team-high nine rebounds.

Kudrick grabbed three boards and handed out a team-high four assists.

The Lady Eagles had a total of four players score in double figures as Marissa Elliot (Hagerstown, Md./Hagerstown C.C.) and Aiesha Smith (Philadelphia/Paul Robeson) added 14 and 11, respectively.

The Lady Eagles are back in action on Saturday, Feb. 16 at 1 p.m. when they travel to California (Pa.) University for PSAC West action.
