Lauren Kelshaw netted a team-high 15 points in the loss on the road at California (Pa.) today.

CALIFORNIA, Pa. – The Lock Haven University women’s basketball team (7-16, 2-7 PSAC West) lost on the road today in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) West action to California (Pa.) University (18-5, 5-3 PSAC West) 92-44 in Cal’s Hamer Hall.

Junior-guard Lauren Kelshaw (Weatherly, Pa./Weatherly) was once again a bright spot for the Lady Eagles despite the loss. She netted a team-high 15 points and added a team-high seven rebounds.

Michelle Mitchell (Scranton, PA/Lackawanna C.C.) added 12 points for the Haven.

Malika Miller (Scranton, Pa./Scranton) and Kristin Kudrick (Harrison City, Pa./Penn Trafford) both pulled in five rebounds for LHU.

The Lady Eagles are back in action on Wednesday, Feb. 20 at 6 p.m. when they play host to Clarion University in the Haven’s last home game of the 2007-08 season.
