Matt Monty enters his fourth season as LHU assistant coach. He specializes in the running backs while adding recruiting coordinator duties.

He most recently was in charge of the offensive and defensive line at LaBrae High School in Leavittsburg, Ohio from 2003-04. Before that position, he spent years at Youngstown State University as an assistant strenghth coach, and volunteer assistant coach in charge of offensive line for a season and defensive line for another year.

As the recruiting coordinator, Monty recruits the Southeastern part of Pennsylvania which includes Districts 1, 3, 11, 12 and 13. Monty also recruits in the state of Ohio and across the rest of the nation.

Monty picked up a bachelor's degree from Youngstown State in education in 2005.
