05/15/2008 #1 Lady Eagles back on track with 3-0 win over #9 C.W. Post

HOUSTON. – Julia Popovich (Lemont, Pa./State College) reached first base following a strikeout and took advantage of the No. 9 C.W. Post mistake and quickly turned it into a first inning run as the No. 1 Lock Haven University (48-7) Lady Eagles started back on their quest for a national title by defeating the Pioneers of C.W. Post by a 3-0 score in today’s NCAA Division II Softball National Tournament contest at Memorial Park.
