Career Description: 2009: Was an essential part of the Lady Eagles’ defensive scheme as she played and started in all 22 games in her sophomore year. Ended the season with a total of 30 ground balls and one goal. McConnell will carry out her defensive efforts next year as a junior for The Haven. 2008: Played and started in all 19 games during her successful rookie campaign. She was a vital part of the Haven defense picking up 42 ground balls and causing 11 turnovers. With one solid year under her belt she will be a key defender in the 2009 season. In High School: Parochial Schools South Jersey First Team...All-South Jersey Lacrosse Club...All-Conference...Unsung hero during her junior season...Named Defensive Player of the Year during her senior season...Captain...Also competed in field hockey for the Lancers.
