Scott Kemps
Scott is entering his second semester in the sports information office and his first full year of broadcasting for HavenSports Radio. Scott has the distinction of being the lone commentator for our most listened to broadcast, The PSAC Championship Men's Soccer game vs. Slippery Rock. A senior journalism and mass communication major, Kemps will be working as the primary contact for men’s and women’s track & field. Kemps is a 2003 graduate of Ramsey High School in Ramsey, NJ, where he participated in basketball, indoor track, soccer, and baseball, receiving all-league honors in soccer his senior season, as well as his junior and senior seasons in baseball. He received the Ramsey High School Athletic Association Scholarship for receiving an athletic letter in all 12 athletic seasons, as well as the Lou Lanzalotto Bergen County Coaches Award for sportsmanship and work ethic while in high school. Here at Lock Haven, Scott has been a four-year starter for the men’s club lacrosse team, while also serving as the team’s vice-president for three of them. Scott has also contributed to many athletic broadcasts, calling numerous men’s and women’s soccer games. Kemps is a native of Ramsey, New Jersey, and currently resides in Lock Haven.
