LOCK HAVEN, Pa.
– With two first-team selections and three on the second team, the Lock Haven
University lacrosse team was well represented on the All-Pennsylvania State
Athletic Conference (PSAC) teams the conference office announced today (May
13).
Senior attack
Diana Strizki (Flemington,
N.J./Hunterdon Central) continues to pace the Lady Eagles, as the school’s
all-time goals, assists and points leader was selected first team offense.
Strizki has 59 goals to lead the team, adding 28 assists.
The team’s defensive selection, sophomore
Shannon Houck
(Gilbertsville, Pa./Boyertown) chipped in with 17
goals and seven assists, and was a leading influence on a defense that allowed
an 9.25 goals against average.
Earning second-team offense honors was
sophomore
Jenna Richter (Long Valley, N.J./West Morris Central),
while senior Laura
Baranski (Collingswood, N.J./Collingswood) and
sophomore
Stephanie Wood (Long Valley, N.J./West Morris Central)
made appearances on the second-team defense.
Strizki, Houck, Richter, Baranski, Wood and
the rest of the Lady Eagles are back in action tomorrow, May 14 at 2 p.m. as
they play at West Chester University in the NCAA Tournament semifinals.
