BLOOMSBURG,
Pa. – The No. 6 Lock Haven
University lacrosse team (4-1, 2-1 PSAC) dropped a
Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) contest at
No. 9 Bloomsburg University (3-3, 2-1) today 12-8.
The Lady
Eagles were down 5-4 at halftime and were out-shot 23-17
by the Huskies.
Senior
Diana Strizki (Flemington,
N.J./Hunterdon Central)
led the offense for Lock Haven, scoring
four goals. She leads the team with 16 strikes on the
season.
Sophomores
Lindsay Rentel (Medford
Lakes, N.J./Shawnee)
and
Jenna Richter (Long
Valley, N.J./West Morris Central)
also scored for the Lady Eagles, adding
three and one goal apiece.
Freshman
Kimberly Allan (Pottstown,
Pa./Pottstown)
made seven saves in net for Lock Haven,
falling to 3-1 on the season.
Cali Toms
powered the offense for the Huskies scoring five goals.
The Lady Eagles
will be back in action on Saturday, March 26, when they
travel to No. 5 Gannon University for a 6 p.m. start.
