The No. 5 Lock Haven University (8-2, 4-2 PSAC)
women’s lacrosse team was defeated by No. 4 West
Chester University (6-0, 5-0 PSAC) 14-5 in
Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Action.
Sophomore
Lindsay
Rentel (Medford Lakes, N.J./Shawnee) led the
offense for the Lady Eagles, who trailed 7-2 at
halftime. Rentel found the back of the net twice.
Senior
Diana
Strizki (Flemington, N.J./Hunterdon Central),
sophomore Mandy
Alderfer (Harleysville, Pa./Souderton), and
freshman Caitlyn
Watts (Willow Grove, Pa./Archbishop Wood)
all tallied one goal apiece for the Haven.
Sophomore
Jenna
Richter (Long Valley, N.J./West Morris Central) handed
out three assists while sophomore Shannon
Houck (Gilbertsville, Pa./Boyertown) and
Watts both dished out one apiece.
Freshman
Kimberly
Allan (Pottstown, Pa./Pottstown) made ten
saves in the loss for the Haven. She is now 7-2 on
the season.
The
Lady Eagles will be back in action on Thursday,
April 7, when they host Millersville University at 2
p.m. in a PSAC contest.
