Just a minute and a half later and on the attack again, Battersby created enough space to receive another cross from Nick Apostolou (Washington, N.J./Warren Hills) and buried it into the back of the net to give LHU the 2-0 lead.

Wildcat keeper Bryan Rudden posted 16 saves on the game, while Haven keeper Paul Maguire (Great Falls, Va./St. John’s) saw little action on his end of the field, facing only three shots on goal.
