The Game
The No. 16 Lock Haven University men’s soccer team (14-4-3) will meet PSAC foe No. 25 California University (12-6-2) in the NCAA Northeast Regional on Friday, Nov. 12, at host Dowling College in Oakdale N.Y. The winner will play Dowling (15-1-5) on Sunday, Nov. 14.

This will be Lock Haven’s first NCAA tournament appearance since 1992 when they went to the Elite Eight before losing 2-0 to Oakland Univeristy. The Bald Eagles have made six apparances in NCAA Division II play going 6-8 including a National Championship in 1980. The Haven has made three Division III NCAA tournament apperances going 11-4 in that span with National Championships in1977 and 1978. This marks California University’s first ever trip to the NCAA tournament.
