KUTZTOWN, Pa. –
The Lock Haven University men’s soccer team (4-4-1, 0-2
PSAC) was shut out today by the Kutztown University
Golden Bears (5-2-2, 2-0 PSAC) 3-0.
The Haven were held in check by a stingy defense that
allowed just five shots on goal.
Scoring
goals for Kutztown were Brian Walter, Jim D’Angelo and
Dan Wilson, their second, third and second,
respectively.
LHU
goalkeeper Matt Deming (Gibsonia/Pine Richland)
made two saves in five attempts to fall to 2-3 on the
season and KU keeper Jason Sherman made five stops to
tie the school’s career record in shutouts at 9.5.
Deming and
the rest of the Bald Eagles are back in action against
Mercy College on Tuesday, Sept. 28 at 4 p.m. at McCollum
