LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Lock Haven University men’s soccer team (6-4-1, 1-2 PSAC) shut out West Chester University (6-4-1, 0-2-1 PSAC) today 2-0 at McCollum Field. Andrew Meehan (Cheltenham/Cheltenham) recorded the game-winning goal just over two minutes before halftime.

Meehan scored on an unassisted strike, his fourth goal of the year. Patrick Long (Lock Haven/Central Mountain) waited until the two-minute mark of the second half to add the game-capping goal to put it out of reach.

Chad Feerrar (Lock Haven/Central Mountain) benefited from a stellar defensive line and faced just two shots en route to his third shutout of the season. Andrew Shafer made three saves in five chances for the loss.
