Men's Soccer Matches UDC, 1-1

WASHINGTON – The Lock Haven University men’s soccer team (9-4-3 3-2-1 PSAC) battled through soggy conditions to tie the University of the District of Columbia 1-1 today. Chris Spinks (Dunfermline, Scotland/Queen Anne/Telford Clg) recorded the second-half strike to earn his team the draw.

Down 1-0 at the half, Spinks fired off a pass from senior Andrew Mason (Morrisville, Pa./Pennsbury), knotting the game at one.

“It wasn’t the greatest of performances,” head coach Doug Moore said. “But it wasn’t a bad draw considering the soggy conditions and long journey.”

The Haven futbollers are now on a seven-game streak without a loss.

Spinks, Mason, Moore and the rest of the Bald Eagles are back in action on Saturday, Oct. 23 at 2 p.m.as they host California University.
