LHU's Webster Nabs ECAC Weekly Track Honors

Haven, Pa.) - Joe
Webster (Folcroft/Monsignor Bonner),
a senior sprinter on the Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania track and field
team, was selected as the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Men’s
Track Athlete of the Week.
Webster brought home the gold in the 400-meter dash at the Bucknell
Invitational, reaching the finish in 47.62, the fastest time in the
Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) and the fourth-best clocking in
the nation. He capped off his
weekend as the lead-off runner for the winning 4x400 meter relay, which
registered a time of 3:16.87. That
time is currently the second fastest in the conference.
The Lock Haven track and field teams compete on Wed., April 16, hosting
a PSAC Tri-Meet including Mansfield University and Bloomsburg University. They
travel to Lafayette College on Sat., April 19.
