LHU Lacrosse's Dwyer Tabbed PSAC Player of the Week

   
  (Lock Haven, Pa.) -  Megan Dwyer (Collegeville/Perkiomen Valley), a senior attacker on the Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania lacrosse team (8-7, 3-3 PSAC), was selected as the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Lacrosse Player of the Week for games ending April 27. 
            Dwyer helped lift Lock Haven to a 2-0 week including a conference win over East Stroudsburg University, 15-11, and a win over No. 10-ranked Mercyhurst College, 9-7.  The senior attacker scored a total of 12 points with six goals, including the tying and go-ahead goals, and six assists in the victory against East Stroudsburg.  She led the Lady Eagles with three goals and an assist against Mercyhurst.
            Dwyer leads the PSAC and is ranked second in the country with 5.53 points per game coming off of 49 goals and 34 assists for a total of 83 points.  This season alone, she broke the LHU single season assists record and has moved up to rank third on the school’s all-time scorers chart with 133 career goals.
           
The Lock Haven University lacrosse team will travel to Philadelphia University on Wed., April 30, for a 4 p.m. contest.
