LHU Soccer's Naomi Clarke Named All-American

Haven, Pa.) - Naomi
Clarke (Cambridge, New Zealand/St. Peter’s School),
a member of the Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania women’s soccer team,
was selected to the NCAA Division II Women’s Soccer All-America list, making
Second Team honors.
This is the second All-America selection for Clarke, a sophomore
midfielder for the Lady Eagle soccer team. Clarke was named to the First Team
All-America list as a true freshman following the 2000 season.

A two-time All-Region and All-PSAC player, Clarke was LHU’s
second-leading scorer this season posting 32 points from 12 goals and eight
assists. Among her six game-winning scores was the double-overtime goal against
West Chester University during the regular season.
The Lock Haven University women’s soccer team finished the season with
an 18-4 overall mark, a program-best for wins, and captured both the PSAC and
NCAA Division II Northeast Region championships.
In the final NSCAA/adidas Division II National Rankings, the Lady Eagles
were situated fifth, the best end-of-season ranking in the program’s history.
