LHU Soccer's Naomi Clarke Named All-American

(Lock Haven, Pa.) -  Naomi Clarke (Cambridge, New Zealand/St. Peter’s School), a member of the Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania women’s soccer team, was selected to the NCAA Division II Women’s Soccer All-America list, making Second Team honors.
This is the second All-America selection for Clarke, a sophomore midfielder for the Lady Eagle soccer team. Clarke was named to the First Team All-America list as a true freshman following the 2000 season.

A two-time All-Region and All-PSAC player, Clarke was LHU’s second-leading scorer this season posting 32 points from 12 goals and eight assists. Among her six game-winning scores was the double-overtime goal against West Chester University during the regular season.
The Lock Haven University women’s soccer team finished the season with an 18-4 overall mark, a program-best for wins, and captured both the PSAC and NCAA Division II Northeast Region championships.  In the final NSCAA/adidas Division II National Rankings, the Lady Eagles were situated fifth, the best end-of-season ranking in the program’s history.
