LHU's Billman Tabbed PSAC Wrestler of the Week

Haven, Pa.) - JaMarr
Billman (Easton/Easton Area),
a member of the Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania wrestling team, was
selected as the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference’s (PSAC) Wrestler of
the Week for events ending Dec. 9.
Billman, ranked #2 in the nation at 149 pounds (InterMat ranking),
went 3-0 to help the team to the same record at the Sheridan Duals hosted by
Lehigh University.
He recorded a technical fall (20-4; 6:24) over Ohio University’s
#15-ranked Jake Percival before scoring major decisions over Rider
University’s Nick Harrington (15-5) and Greg Austin (21-7) of Rutgers
University. The
senior grappler is now 12-0 on the season.
The Lock Haven wrestling team is 5-0 in dual meets, and will next travel
to Clarion University on Sunday, Dec. 16, for the Clarion Duals.
There, LHU will take on the #6 (Division II) University of
Pittsburgh-Johnstown, Kent State University, and #7 Ohio State University.
