LHU's Holtzer Named PSAC West Player of the Week

Haven, Pa.) - Kris
Holtzer (Matamoras, Pa./Delaware Valley), a junior on the Lock Haven
University of Pennsylvania's men's basketball team, was named the Pennsylvania
State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Western Division Player of the Week for all
games ending February 4.
Holtzer led the Bald Eagles to two consecutive PSAC West wins for the
first time since the 1995-96 season, defeating Shippensburg (56-46) and
Slippery Rock (64-48) in last week's action. He paced LHU with 21 points,
including three three-pointers, four rebounds and four assists in the win over
Slippery Rock. During the stretch,
Holtzer averaged 17.5 points, 4.0 rebounds and 4.0 assists. He currently leads
the Lock Haven team in scoring with 15.4 points per game and assists, averaging
4.1 per game.
The Bald Eagles are now 7-13 overall, 3-3 in the conference. They will
travel to Indiana (Pa.) University this evening for another PSAC West match-up
to begin at 8 p.m.
