	February 11, 2003 LHU's Owens Named the PSAC Wrestler of the Week

	(Lock Haven, Pa.) - Justin Owens (Morrisdale, Pa./West Branch), a senior grappler for Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania, was selected as the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Wrestler of the Week for competition ending Feb. 9. Owens, a 133-pounder for the Bald Eagles, went 2-0 in matches this past week against Eastern Wrestling League opponents No. 9-ranked West Virginia University and University of Pittsburgh. He posted a 16-0 technical fall (6:08) against Pittsburgh’s James Thornton, and was one of two wrestlers to win the match versus his West Virginia opponent with a 12-3 major decision over Troy Forte. Owens is 17-10 on the season and has been one of the top points-producers for The Haven with five falls, four technical falls and one major decision among his wins. The Bald Eagle wrestling team (10-10, 1-4 EWL) will next travel to Bloomsburg University for an EWL match on Friday, Feb. 14., at 7:30 p.m.
