Haven, Pa.) - Area youngsters will have an opportunity to
experience the college game-day atmosphere when Lock Haven University of
Pennsylvania hosts NCAA® Basketball’s annual Take a Kid to the Game® (TAKG)
program on Wed., February 19, 2003. Kids will receive a free ticket with the purchase of a
reduced-priced ($3) adult ticket to watch the Lady Eagles and Bald Eagles take
on Shippensburg University at 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. at Thomas Fieldhouse. Lock Haven is one of more than 300 institutions across the nation that are participating in this campaign focused on attracting more of the nation’s youth to college games. The Take a Kid to the Game® program is entering it eight year in the promotion of NCAA® Athletics. Tickets for this special doubleheader can be purchased at the door the day of the games.
