	February18, 2003 LHU's Horner Merits EWL Wrestler of the Week Honor

	(Lock Haven, Pa.) - Morgan Horner (Hasbrouck Heights, N.J./Hasbrouck Heights), a freshman wrestler for Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania, was selected as the Eastern Wrestling League Wrestler of the Week for competition ending Feb. 16. Horner, wrestling at 197 pounds, helped lead the Bald Eagles to a league win over Bloomsburg University. Behind 12-6 after the first five bouts, Horner helped boost the Haven’s momentum by pinning the Huskies’ Andy Ludlow in 56 seconds to even the team score. Lock Haven swept the remaining matches for the 29-12 final victory. Horner is currently 15-8 overall including four falls and five major decisions. He is ranked as high as 15^th nationally by Amateur Wrestling News. The Lock Haven wrestling team winds down the regular season with two dual meets this week, traveling to No. 14-ranked Penn State University on Wed., Feb. 19, at 7 p.m. before hosting Clarion University on Fri., Feb. 21, at 7:30 p.m.
