LHU's Mushonga Named PSAC Men's Track Athlete of
the Week

(Lock Haven, Pa.) - Anesu
Mushonga (Harare, Zimbabwe/Prince Edward),
a junior sprinter for the Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania men’s track
and field team, was selected as the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC)
Men’s Track Athlete of the Week for all events ending Feb. 23.
In the final competition leading up to the conference championships, Mushonga
bettered two of his own school records at the Kent State Tune-Up.
He ran a 6.41 in the 55 meters and clocked a 21.98 in the 200 meters.
Both times keep him at the top of the PSAC performance lists in each
event.
The Lock
Haven University men’s and women’s track and field teams defend their
titles at the 2003 PSAC Indoor Track and Field Championships hosted by East
Stroudsburg University this weekend, March 1-2.
