LHU's Webster Selected As ECAC Track Athlete of the Week

(Lock Haven, Pa.) - Joe Webster (Folcroft/Monsignor Bonner), a junior sprinter for the Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania track and field team, was selected as the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Men’s Track Athlete of the Week for events during the week of January 14-20.
Webster, who also earned Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Track Athlete of the Week honors, was the only non-Division I winner at Saturday’s Bucknell Octagonal, winning the 400-Meter Dash in 50.73.  His time ranks him second among all conference sprinters in the event.  Webster took fifth in the 200-Meter Dash (23.05) with a time that ranks his third in the PSAC, and also qualified for the conference championships in the 55-Meter Dash with a finish time of 6.77.
The Bald and Lady Eagle Track and Field teams will travel back to Bucknell University on Saturday, Jan. 26, for the Bucknell Open starting at 9:30 a.m.
