LHU's Farrow and Held Garner PSAC Weekly Awards

   
  (Lock Haven, Pa.) -  Jennifer Farrow (Canton/Athens) and Jocelyn Held (Slatington/Northwestern Lehigh), both of the Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania women’s indoor track and field team, were selected as the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Women’s Track and Women’s Field Athlete of the Week for events occurring Jan. 20-27.
            Farrow earned PSAC Track Athlete of the Week honors after setting the school record in the 200 meters at last Saturday’s Bucknell Octagonal, finishing third with a time of 26.01.  She won the 400-meter dash in 58.16, and also finished fourth in the 55-meter dash in 7.48.  Her times in the 200 meters and 400 meters rank first and second, respectively, among conference competition.  
            Held is the PSAC Field Athlete of the Week following a winning performance in the pole vault at the Bucknell Octagonal, clearing a height of 10’10” for first place honors.  Her mark ranks her first in the conference this season.
            The Lock Haven University men’s and women’s track and field teams next compete at the Bucknell Pentathlon on Friday through Saturday, January 31- February 1.
