Haven, Pa.) - The
Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania women’s lacrosse program has announced
21 student-athletes who will make up its 2003 recruiting class.
The
2003-04 Lady Eagle lacrosse team will be led by third-year head coach Kristen
Geissler. Last year the LHU squad
finished 8-8 overall and finished fourth in the Pennsylvania State Athletic
Conference (PSAC) with a 3-3 conference record.
It was the first time since the 1996 season that the Lady Eagles had
established a win-loss mark of .500 or better.
At the conclusion of the season, LHU was ranked 12th in all
of Division II in scoring offense (10.81) and was 15th in scoring
defense (10.25), scoring margin (+0.56) and win percentage (.500).
