(Lock Haven, Pa.) -  Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania’s Head Softball Coach Kelley Green and Assistant Softball Coach Leslie Moore were named the Speedline/NFCA Division II Mid-Atlantic Region Coaching Staff of the Year, as voted on by their peers.
Led by Green and Moore, the 2002 Lady Eagles reached NCAA Division II post-season play for the first time since the 1988 season, finishing second at the Mid-Atlantic Regional Championships.  Over the course of the season, Lock Haven posted an overall record of 37-15, setting a school single-season win mark along with seven other season records.  The Crimson and White were ranked No. 21 in the year-end USA Today/NFCA Division II Top 25 poll.
