Haven, Pa.) - Jennifer
Farrow (Canton/Athens) and
Bri Palazzi (Altoona/Altoona), both of the Lock Haven University of
Pennsylvania women’s indoor track and field team, will be going to the NCAA
Division II National Indoor Track and Field Championships being held at the
Reggie Lewis Track and Athletics Center in Boston, Mass., from March 14-15.
Farrow qualified in the 400 meters after placing as the Pennsylvania
State Athletic Conference (PSAC) champion for the second-straight season,
running a 56.88 to set new school and conference standards.
She is seated 10th entering into national competition.
Palazzi will enter national competition in the triple jump seated 11th
after posting a mark of 38’11-1/2” in the PSAC finals.
The Haven freshman captured the conference crown in the triple jump and
also set a new school and championship record with her qualifying distance.
Farrow and Palazzi are two of only four PSAC women’s track and field
student-athletes and two of 11 total PSAC athletes who will be competing at the
2003 indoor national championships.
