outdoor track and field teams, was the 2003 recipient of Lock Haven's Charlotte
Smith Award. The Charlotte Smith
Award is presented annually to one senior female student-athlete in recognition
of their accomplishments in women's athletics, outstanding leadership, and
academic achievement.
Farrow, a three-time All-American in the 400 meters, can also boast five
Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) titles in the 400 meters.
She has won the conference crown twice indoors (2002, ’03) and with
three outdoor titles (2000, ’01, ’02), has a chance at becoming only the
eighth female athlete in the PSAC to be a four-time champion as the 2003
outdoor championships approach next weekend.
A six-time NCAA qualifier and three-time national championships
participant, Farrow was the NCAA Division II East Region Female Athlete of the
Year in 2002 and the PSAC Indoor Track Athlete of the Year in 2003.
She is a USTCCCA All-Academic student, a PSAC Scholar-Athlete and a PSAC

Farrow completed her undergraduate degree in Recreation/Fitness
management in high academic standing last spring, and has been working towards
completion of her Masters in Liberal Arts degree at the University.

holding a total of 11 Lock Haven track and field records (60 meters, 200
meters, 400 meters, 500 meters, 4x100m, 4x200m, 4x400m, sprint medley) and both
PSAC all-time indoor and outdoor records in the 400 meters.
She has been a member of three PSAC championship squads, helping lead
