Haven, Pa.) - Eddie
Christiano (Coal Township/Lourdes Regional),
a freshman guard on the Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania men’s
basketball team, was selected as the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC)
Western Division Rookie of the Week for all games ending Nov. 25.
Christiano helped the Bald Eagles to their first win of the season, a
71-66 decision over Fairmont State College last Tuesday.
The 5’11” guard came off the bench to hit three key three-pointers
in the contest, finishing with nine points on the game.
For the season, the Lock Haven freshman has 11 points, five rebounds,
and five assists.
Christiano was a three-time Associated Press Small
School All-State player while at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional High School.
The Lock Haven men’s basketball team is 1-2 overall, and will next
travel to Mansfield University on Wednesday, Nov. 28, for an 8 p.m. contest.
