Two Haven Men's Soccer Players Earn All-PSAC Honors

   
  (Lock Haven, Pa.) -  Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania men’s soccer players Bill Dovas (Hackettstown, N.J./Hackettstown) and Dustin Bixler (Mechanicsburg/Redland) were both selected to the All-Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) men’s soccer team.  West Chester University’s Ryan Sekkes and Matt Christian were selected the Athlete and Rookie of the Year, respectively, and Millersville University’s Bob Charles was named the Coach of the Year.
            Bill Dovas, a junior forward, earned Second Team All-PSAC accolades.  Dovas was the Bald Eagles’ scoring leader with 13 goals and three assists for 29 points.  He scored the game-winning goal on two occasions, including a two-goal effort in the final game of the season -- a 2-0 win over Slippery Rock University. 
            Dustin Bixler is a second-year standout defender for the Bald Eagles, and also earns his first appearance on the all-conference list with second team honors. Bixler anchored The Haven defense, helping post four shutouts and a team 1.68 goals against average.  He came forward to notch his first collegiate goal this season in the team’s 7-0 victory over Mercy College.
            The Bald Eagle soccer team finished the season at 9-8-1 overall and 3-4-1 in the PSAC.
