Lady Eagle Field Hockey Ranked Second in the Nation

   
  (Lock Haven, Pa.) -  The Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania field hockey team (10-2, 4-1 PSAC) moved up another spot to second in the latest edition of the STX/NFHCA Division II National Coaches Poll. The Lady Eagles had been ranked third nationally the past two weeks.
        Bloomsburg University (11-0) maintains the top spot in the coaches poll, followed by Lock Haven.  Shippensburg University (9-3) is third, while Saint Michael’s College (9-3) and Bentley College (9-3) are fourth and fifth, respectively.  
        The Haven is currently 10-2 overall and 4-1 in the PSAC, winning two home contests last week against conference opponent Kutztown University, 8-1, and then-ninth ranked Mercyhurst College, 5-1.              
        The LHU field hockey team will face off against No. 9-ranked Indiana (Pa.) University this evening under the lights at Charlotte Smith Field at 7 p.m.
