Lady Eagle Soccer Ranked Seventh in the Nation
Lock Haven Seated First in the
Northeast Region

Haven, Pa.) - The
Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania women’s soccer team earned a national
ranking of seventh in the latest NSCAA/adidas Division II Women’s Top 25
poll released this week, moving up one spot from last week’s ranking of
eighth. The Lady Eagles also took
over the top spot in the Northeast Region.
There was no change among the nation’s top five teams with Northern
Kentucky University (14-0-1) retaining the top spot.
Christian Brothers University (15-1-0) is in the second slot.
Ranked third is the University of Nebraska, Omaha (14-0-0).
Franklin Pierce College (11-0-2) and Barry University (15-0-0) complete
the top five, respectively.

The Lock Haven women’s soccer team is 13-1-1 overall and undefeated at
8-0-0 in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC).
Last week the Lady Eagles came up big with a 2-0 shutout over then
seventh-ranked Adelphi University. Prior
to the Adelphi game, Lock Haven posted a 3-0 victory over Clarion University in
conference action. The Lady Eagles
have their final two home games of the regular season ahead of them this week,
hosting Bloomsburg University on Wednesday, Oct. 23, before taking on
California (Pa.) University on Saturday, Oct. 26.
