	September 17, 2001 LHU's Nuzum Earns PSAC Volleyball Player of the Week

	(Lock Haven, Pa.) - Lauren Nuzum (Manchester/Northeastern), a member of the Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania volleyball team, merited Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Player of the Week honors for contests ending September 16. Nuzum, a senior outside hitter for the Lady Eagles, sparked Lock Haven’s come-from-behind victory over conference rival Edinboro University by tallying 15 kills, 14 digs, and three solo blocks. Lock Haven fell behind by two games before capturing the final three and its first conference win of the season at Edinboro’s McComb Fieldhouse. For the season, Nuzum leads the team in service aces (22) and is second on the squad in kills (126) and digs (112). The Lock Haven women’s volleyball team is 7-5 overall and 1-0 in the PSAC Western Division. Upcoming contests include the Lady Eagles’ home opener on Tuesday, September 18, at 7 p.m. versus Clarion University. LHU will also be at home this weekend, hosting the LHU Classic on Friday and Saturday, September 21-22.
