Va.) – In Saturday action versus West Virginia Wesleyan,
the Lady Eagles managed only two hits in a 3-0 loss.
Lynn Spiezio
and Ashley Barber (Rockville, Md./Richard
Montgomery) each posted one hit for Lock Haven.
Pitcher Shona
Guevara (Chino
Hills, Calif./Ruben S. Ayala)
took the loss, throwing all seven innings with four
strikeouts.
The
Lady Eagles will play Virginia
State
on Sunday, Feb. 29, at
10 a.m.
in the tournament quarterfinal round. Should Lock Haven
win, they will then face Shippensburg University at 2 p.m.
in the semifinals. Tournament championship round action is
slated for a 4 p.m. start.
