(Orlando, Fla.) – The Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania softball team sits at 6-5 overall after going 1-1 yesterday in action at the Rebel Games in Orlando , Fla.   The Lady Eagles shutout Southern New Hampshire University, 2-0, before suffering a 7-2 loss versus Tiffin University. 
            Lock Haven scored the 2-0 shutout over Southern New Hampshire University on Wednesday morning. Kelly Deitrick (Danville/Danville) knocked in both of the game’s runs, going 3-for-4 including a double. From the pitcher’s circle, Shona Guevara ( Chino Hills , Calif. /Ruben S. Ayala) improves to 3-2 on the season with the complete game victory, firing a three-hitter with five strikeouts.
            Later that evening, the Lady Eagles dropped a 7-2 decision against Tiffin University after giving up 12 hits to the Dragons. The Lady Eagles’ Stephanie Kinch ( Painesville , Ohio / Riverside ) took the pitching loss, falling to 2-2 on the season.  Heather Johnson (Williamsport/Williamsport) provided the Haven’s offensive highlights, logging two hits, including one double, and an RBI. 
            Lock Haven softball, now 6-5 overall, remains in action at the Rebel Games through March 12.
