LOCK HAVEN, Pa.
– The Lock Haven University softball team earned a No. 25 ranking in the
National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) Division II Preseason Top
25, the association office announced today. LHU is coming off a 27-17
season in 2004 and a NCAA regional appearance.
The Lady Eagles are
one of three Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference teams in the
rankings, joined by No. 3 Shippensburg University and No. 12 Bloomsburg
University. Florida Southern College earns top billing, returning 10
players from last year’s NCAA runner-up.
The Lady Eagles
start their season at Shaw University Friday, Feb. 25 at 1 p.m.
