LOCK HAVEN, Pa.
– For the second time in as many years, the No. 14 Lock Haven University
softball team (33-8) will travel to the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional. The
Lady Eagles are the No. 2 seed, which means they will get a bye in
first-round action, facing the winner of the No. 18 Bloomsburg
University and Elizabeth City State University.
This is the second-straight season
in NCAA competition for the Lady Eagles and the third in head coach
Kelley Green’s six-year tenure.
The Lady Eagles head into the
double-elimination tournament off the strength of their first
Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) West Division title since
1988. LHU compiled a 17-1 conference ledger.
