LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – Lock Haven
University senior outfielder
Kristin Frantz (Boyertown,
Pa./Bowertown) has been named to the second
team ESPN The Magazine Academic All-America Team selected by the
College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).
Frantz started 19 games for the Lady Eagles batting at a
.350 clip with 21 hits, two homeruns, and 15 RBIs. In the classroom,
Frantz sports a 3.738 GPA in the Elementary Education field.
To be nominated for the ESPN The Magazine Academic
All-America program, a student-athlete must be at least a sophomore with
a 3.2 or higher cumulative grade-point average and be a starter or
significant reserve.
