Freshman middle Cherry Li (Shanghai, China) totaled
25 kills to help boost the Lock Haven volleyball team to a
3-1 victory over conference opponent Clarion University
(10-4, 1-1 PSAC West) on the road in Clarion, Pa.
The Lady Eagles were outmatched in the first game, losing
26-30, before bouncing back to take three straight games,
30-26, 30-25, and 30-21, for the overall match win.
Tonight’s result improves LHU to 9-1 overall
and 2-0 in the PSAC Western Division.
In addition to her 25 kills, Li posted seven digs and six

Salles) had a solid evening with 11 kills, eight digs
and a team best eight blocks including four solo stuffs.
Outside hitter Kristi Kauffman (York/Central

) recorded a double-double, tallying 13 kills and 11
digs, while setter Allison Furry (Guys Mills/Maplewood)
finished with 54 assists.
