Rock, Pa.) - A well-balanced effort motored the Lock Haven
volleyball team past Slippery Rock University (5-5, 0-3
PSAC West) this evening in three straight games, 30-19,
30-19 and 30-21. The win improves the Lady Eagles to
10-1 overall and 3-0 in the Western Division.
Jen Thompson (N. Ridgeville, Ohio/Elyria Catholic) and
Cherry Li (Shanghai,
China) played large roles in helping the Lady Eagles to the
three-game victory. Thompson posted a double-double with
11 kills and 10 digs, while Li led the Haven in kills with
13 total. Amanda Snyder (Portsmouth,
Va./Churchland) assisted with a team-best 12 digs along
with six kills, while Maggie Borden (Hanover/Delone
Catholic) added eight kills. Kelly Kostelich
(Venetia/Peters Township) held down the setting
duties, working for 31 assists along with 10 digs.
