The Lady Eagle volleyball team jumps to
19-2 overall with a three-match victory (30-14, 30-23,
30-18) over East Stroudsburg University (5-15) this
evening in the first of three PSAC Cross-Over matches
being held in Edinboro, Pa., this weekend.
Allison Wade (Duncansville/Hollidaysburg) and Cherry
Li (
Shanghai
,
China
) controlled the offense, Wade totaling 14 kills while
Li registered 13 kills. Wade added 16 digs to aid
the defense, while Li posted 15 digs along with a
team-best seven blocks including three solo stuffs. Kristi
Kauffman (York/Central
York
) led the way with 23 digs, while Kelly Kostelich
(Venetia/Peters Township) tallied 51 assists and four
blocks in the three-game match.
