The Lady Eagle volleyball team improves to 21-2 overall
after winning two matches today in the final day of this
weekend’s PSAC Cross-Over matches being held in
Edinboro
,
Pa.
The Lady Eagles won, 3-0 (30-20, 30-22, 30-18),
against
Millersville
University
before sweeping
Cheyney
University
in three games, 30-7, 30-4, and 30-7.

) totaled a team best of 14 kills against
Millersville, followed by Cherry Li (
Shanghai
,
China
) with nine kills and Allison Wade
(Duncansville/Hollidaysburg) with eight kills. Cherry
Li led the defense with 24 digs and four blocks. Kelly
Kostelich (Venetia/Peters Township) added a three-game
total of 36 assists.
Against Cheyney, the
Haven allowed only 18 total points over the span of three
games and registered a combined 36 service aces on the
match. Meghan Hayes (Manahawkin, N.J./Southern
Regional) had eight kills and seven service aces,
while Maggie Borden (Hanover/Delone Catholic) added
seven kills and four aces. Kelly Bebee (
Smithtown
, N.Y./Smithtown) totaled 12 service aces along with
three kills, while setter Allison Furry (Guys
Mills/Maplewood) closed out the match with 26 assists.
