Lady Eagle volleyball team scored a 3-0 win, 30-21, 30-24,
30-26, over California (Pa.) University (19-14, 3-7 PSAC
West) this evening in its final regular season contest.
Lock Haven improves to 26-5 overall and 8-2 in the
PSAC West with the win.
In game one, the Haven owned a 26-18 advantage
before
California
tallied two
straight points. Middle Lillian
Bortoto (Sao
Paulo,
Brazil/Campos
Salles)
put down the ball for the kill to bring the score to
27-20, then a block by Bortoto and Amanda
Snyder (Portsmouth,
Va./Churchland)
made
it 28-20. A California
error was
followed by an LHU error, but a kill by Kristi Kauffman (York/Central
York)
on the next point gave the game to the Haven, 30-21.

The winner of Tuesday’s first-round match-up will
