LOCK HAVEN, Pa.—The No. 24 Lock Haven University volleyball team (13-2, 3-1 PSAC West) showed resilience in a come-from-behind victory against Queens College (9-3) tonight at the Thomas Field House, 26-30, 31-29, 30-21, 30-16. The Lady Eagles played Queens as part of the LHU Volleyball Classic a two-day, four-team tournament.

Up against the wall early, LHU found itself down one and facing a 27-25 deficit in the second set. Sophomore Jen Thompson (N. Ridgeville, Ohio/Elyria Catholic) recorded a big kill, sparking the Lady Eagles to rally and win the set 31-29.

The momentum continued to carry LHU through the rest of the match, as they scored the first six points in each of the next two sets, sweeping the final two for the 3-1 victory.

Thompson and Li Yizhi (Shanghai, China) both recorded double-doubles in the win, Thompson with 10 kills and 20 digs and Li with 14 kills and 10 digs.
