LOCK HAVEN, Pa. -
The Lock Haven
University volleyball program and head coach
Tom Justice
have been tabbed as preseason favorites in the Pennsylvania State Athletic
Conference (PSAC) West Division by the opposing coaches today (Aug. 25).
The No. 24 Lady Eagles are two-time defending conference champions, winning
the PSAC Tournament in 2003 and 2004.
Five of the Lady Eagles
first six contests are against ranked foes. LHU opens up play on Friday,
Aug. 26 at the Ferris State Holiday Inn Invitational where they will face
No. 16 Northwood University, No. 17 Ferris State and No. 14 Grand Valley
State University. The next tournament comes the following weekend as LHU
takes on No. 7 Central Missouri State University and No. 21 Augustana
College.
The first PSAC West
contest comes inside Thomas Fieldhouse on Sept. 13 against IUP. Start time
for that contest is slated for 7 p.m.
