LOCK HAVEN, Pa.
– Senior Melissa Picarsic
(Acme, Pa./Mt. Pleasant)
has been named Pennsylvania State Athletic
Conference (PSAC) Western Division Player of the Week for her outstanding
performance against Alderson-Broaddus College, the conference office
announced today. It is the first honor for both Picarsic and the Lady Eagles
this season.
Picarsic narrowly
missed the Lady Eagles’ first double-double of the season, scoring a
team-best 15 points and bringing down nine boards in the team’s loss to the
Battlers. The lone senior on the squad shot 7-for-13 (.538) from the floor.
Picarsic and the rest
of the Lady Eagles will be back in action Tuesday, Dec. 21, at 6 p.m. at
West Chester University.
