LOCK HAVEN, Pa.
–Sophomore Seth Martin
(Selinsgrove, Pa./Selinsgrove) was picked Pennsylvania State Athletic
Conference (PSAC) Wrestler of the Week for his efforts in duals against No.
14 Penn State University, the University of Pittsburgh and No. 22 West
Virginia University during the week ending Feb. 13. It is the first honor
for both Martin and the Lock Haven University wrestling team this season.
Martin had three
crowd-favorite matches this week, starting it off with a 7-5 sudden-victory
upset of Penn State’s No. 13 Nate Galloway. He followed that up with a
dominant 9-1 decision over former ranked grappler Matt Kocher of
Pittsburgh. Martin finished off the weekend with a near-upset of No. 7 Matt
Lebe of No. 22 West Virginia, dipping by a 5-2 margin.
